We drove the ferry onto French soil and the first thing I had to ask Mike was… Which side of the road do you overtake on?
After 4 hours driving 30 minutes that was not needed but that’s what happens when you follow Mike Cradock’s Sat Nav (or shall I say T%@T NAV) we arrived at our hotel. I managed to get a quick nap before my alarm was waking me up again ready for our first look at the track.
After a quick stop at FDL France and a very interesting look at the brand new MP9 very close up (I did ask myself several times if I could make it outside the door with it) We arrived at the track and my breath was taken back Read more…

The 3rd round of the TYRO Buggy Nationals was held at DRT (Dartford Race Track) in the South East of England, again some of the competitors who have entered would not have looked out of place at the BRCA ‘A’ Buggy Nationals it was almost guaranteed that this would be another successful and exciting meeting! Marc Knight secured TQ closely followed by Keith Robertson and Jess Saunders who now was sporting a HoBao covered in JQProducts upgrades. Marc, Keith and Jess were all fighting for 1st 2nd and 3rd for the 1st half of the race with Keith Robertson edging ahead of the battle that Marc and Jess were having until lap 21
RCSnaps managed to get some photos of the 2nd round of the TYRO Nationals. This round was held at Grantham A1 Racing Club up in Lincolnshire which meant a trip up either the day before or a very early wake up for us lot down south! A full report of the event will hopefully be available soon but until then the results are:
On arrival to the track my first impressions was that it did not look as big as it does in the photos. The track has very long straights and there were several of these so came the first dilemma for drivers, what clutch bell to use?
